Renewable Grass Energy:
 Untapped Potential in
  Northern New York

Biomass Boot Camp Will Answer the Question: “Why biomass?”

If you are a facility manager or owner or manager of a business and are faced with rising energy costs, then don’t miss a special one-day opportunity to learn about how renewable biomass fuels can save you money.

The Biomass Boot Camp will be an all-day event (9:00 AM - 4:30 PM) on Friday, September 17 at SUNY Canton. The program will be presented by Rick Handley & Associates. Lunch is provided. For additional information and to register, go to: www.rickhandleyassociates.com or call (518) 466-6934.

The event is a project of the Black River-St. Lawrence RC&D Council and the St. Lawrence County Grass Energy Working Group. Don’t think that this is only about grass energy, though ! It’s not. It’s about both woody and non-woody biomass options.

Site sponsors are: New York Power Authority and Development Authority of the North Country. Underwriting Sponsors are: Honeywell Building Solutions and West Penn Sustainable Energy Fund.

An exciting new energy resource that invests our energy dollars in Upstate NY instead of the Middle East.
